How it works
How it works — stepped
Shelly 1 Gen3 drives the garage opener via dry-contact pulse (like a wall button). A Shelly BLU Door/Window sensor reports open/closed state. Combined logic prevents double-triggers, enforces auto-close timer if desired, and exposes clean status to phone or Home Assistant.

Safety notes
Pulse duration is tuned to 0.5–1s (simulates button press). Sensor placement is critical — instructions include alignment template. Auto-close is opt-in and disabled by default for safety.
